Elizabeth Short (1924-1947) also known as The Black Dahlia, was brutally murdered by a unknown person in Los Angeles. Elizabeth's naked dismembered body was discovered in a parking lot, the body had gone white and was drained of blood. The killer had washed her body and made several cuts over the corpse and her body had also been posed.
Many people confessed to Elizabeth's murder and the LAPD had over 190 suspects, but no - one ever came close to being a person of interest. This case remains one of the most famous cold cases in history and it is most likely it will never be solved.
My Thoughts
I believe Elizabeth was murdered by someone she knew, I also believe that person had medical experience, also I believe that individual has committed many murders and is the classic definition of a psychopath. I believe he murdered Short as he had some sort of personal vendetta against her. His other murders were probably committed against persons unknown to him, their are several unsolved murders similar to Elizabeth's that may have been the same perpetrator.
