Unsolved - The Murder of Amber Hagerman. Who Is The Killer?

On a January afternoon in 1996, 9 year old Amber Hagerman was out riding her bike with her brother, they decided to go bike riding in a local abandoned parking lot, after a while her brother Ricky decided to go home and Amber was left to herself in the lot. At this point Amber was abducted. Sadly four days after Amber's disappearance her body was found in a creek less than five miles from where she was last seen. An autopsy was carried out and it was found that Amber was kept alive two days prior to her murder, whoever kidnapped Amber had beaten her, raped her and then cut her throat. Amber's murder has never been solved.

My Thoughts

I believe Amber was taken by an opportunist sex offender, who happened to be driving by. I believe he forced Amber in his car and drove to a familiar place where she was kept. I believe the murderer lives in a ten minute radius to where Amber was abducted and to where her body was located.

Amber's death bought into existence the Amber Alert System, when a child goes missing an alert is broadcast, so that a lost child may be located sooner.
