9/11 The Child Victims - Gone to Soon

9/11 was the day that changed America and the world, during that horrific day 8 innocent children lost their lives, here are their stories.

Christine Lee Hanson Aged:2 (1999-2001)

Christine was the youngest victim of the terrorist attacks she was on Flight 175 from Boston to Los Angeles when the plane struck the South Tower, Christine died along with her parents, her father made a call from the plane stating a stewardess had been stabbed and not to worry as the plane was going down and it would be quick, Christine was just 2 years old.

David Gamboa-Brandhurst Aged:3 (1998 -2001)

David, pictured here with his adoptive dad's Daniel and Ronald.They were on Flight 175 when it struck the South Tower, David died along with his daddies. The family were returning home from visiting friends, sadly they would never make it. David was only 3 years old.

Juliana Valentine McCourt Aged:4 (1997- 2001)

Juliana pictured here with her mum Ruth, was on Flight 175, which crashed into the South Tower. They were going on holiday when the plane was hijacked. In a heartbreaking twist Ruth's brother was outside the towers assisting the injured, when he saw his sister and niece's plane hit the tower. Her brother survived. Juliana was only 4 years old.

Bernard Curtis Brown II Aged:11 (1990-2001)

Bernard was on Flight 77, which crashed into the Pentagon, Bernard was going on a school trip when his plane was hijacked. Bernard loved school and dreamt of being a basketball player. He was 11 years old.

Asia Cottom Aged: 11 (1990 - 2001)

Asia was on Flight 77, which was flown into the Pentagon, she was also on a school trip. In her memory her parents set up a memorial fund to send students to college. Asia had a very bright future ahead of her and sadly her parents will never see her reach her full potential. She was 11 years old.

Rodney Dickens Age: 11 (1990-2001)

Rodney was also on Flight 77, which crashed into the Pentagon. He was also apart of the school trip, run by National Geographic. Rodney was a nice kid who liked to help others, he was also a massive fan of westling and loved to help his brothers. Rodney was only 11.

Dana Falkenberg Aged:3 (1998-2001)

Dana was with her sister, mum and dad, when their flight, Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon. Dana was a happy little girl who loved princesses, cruley taken away far too soon.

She was only 3.

Zoe Falkenberg Aged:8 (1992-2001)

Zoe, pictured here with younger sister Dana was with her, their mum, and dad on the flight which crashed into the Pentagon, Flight 77. Zoe loved reading and was remembered as a very bright student. The whole family died together that day, above all the fear at least in the end they had each other. Zoe was 8 years old.
