The White House Farm Murders, were five murders committed by Jeremy Bamber in 1985. Ralph Nevil Bamber (1924-1985), June Speakman Bamber (1924-1985), their daughter Shelia Caffell (1957-1985) and her sons Nicolas Caffell (1979-1985) and Daniel Caffell (1979-1985) were shot to death by Ralf and June's adopted son Jeremy (1961)
Originally Shelia was blamed for the murder of her parents and two sons, as she was schizophrenic, however due to the bizarre behavior of Bamber during the funeral his innocence came into doubt, during the funerals he was allegedly laughing and joking and making lewd comments about how he couldn't wait to get back to the house and have sex with his girlfriend.
Throughout his trial Bamber maintained a persona of arrogance, he was sentenced to 5 life terms after his trial which lasted just 18 days. He is one of 70 prisoners with whole life terms, where life means life and he will never be freed. However Bamber is the only one of the whole lifers that still maintains his innocence. No one in his extended family believe him.
