Titanic Fact: The ship had it's own newspaper The Atlantic Daily Bulletin, which was posted every night in the First Class Smoking Room.


31. Alfred Samuel Allsop 1876-1912 Aged 36 (Titanic Crew)




Alfred was the ships 2nd Electrician, his body was never found and his estate worth £152, was left to his widow who benefited from the Titanic Relief Fund.


32. Frank Richard Allsop 1868-1912 Aged 43 (Titanic Crew)



(Frank is Included on his Parent's Headstone)


Frank was a Saloon Steward on the Titanic and recived a monthly wage of £3.15. His body was never recovered and he is remembered on his parent's headstone in Derbyshire.


33. Owen George Allum 1894-1912 Aged 17 (3rd Class Passenger)



Owen was a Gardener, who was on the Titanic traveling to New York to join his father, Owen's body was recovered by the Mackay Bennett and he was buried in Berkshire alongside his sister who had died 2 years previously.


34. Albert Kaurin Anderson 1878-1912 Aged 33 (3rd Class Passenger)



Albert was an Engineer, who boarded the ship with his friends Johan and Henry. Albert died in the sinking along with his two friends and his body was recovered by the Mackay Bennett and he is buried in Fairview Lawn Cemetery. Albert's death hit his family hard, they were solely dependant on him, his wife gave birth to their daughter 8 months after the sinking, and subsequently had a breakdown. She then became dependant on alcohol and neglected her daughter. Her daughter was then taken into care and died at 16 of meningits.


35. Walter Yuill Anderson 1861-1912 Aged 50 (Titanic Crew)



Walter was the ship's Bedroom Steward, his body was recovered by The Mackay Bennett and he was buried at sea. His body was identified by a letter in his pocket.


36. Anders Johan Andersson 1873-1912 Aged 39 (3rd Class Passenger)



Anders was a General Laborer, he and his entire family were aboard the ship and they all died in the sinking apart from his sister in law. Anders's body was never found.


37. Johan Samuel Andersson 1885-1912 Aged 26 (3rd Class Passenger)



Johan was a Carpenter and Joiner, his body was not recovered and his father was paid the pitiful sum of £48 for his son's loss.


38.Ingeborg Constanzia Andersson 1902-1912 Aged 9 (3rd Class Passenger)



Ingeborg boarded the Titanic with her entire family, sadly they all perished in the disaster except her Aunt. Her body was never recovered.


39. Sigvard Harald Elias Andersson 1907-1912 Aged 4 (3rd Class Passenger)


Sigvard joined his family aboard the Titanic to start his new life, they all died in the sinking, apart from his Aunt and his body was not recovered.


40. Alfrida Konstantia Brogren Andersson 1872-1912 Aged 39 (3rd Class Passenger)




Alfida boarded the ship with her husband, five children, sister and brother in law, tragically only Alfida's sister survived. Alfida's mother recived only £184.80 for the family's loss. Alfida's body was never recovered.
